Fresh pasta with Green Pesto and Cheese (Quick & Easy)

I’m not sure if this should be called a recipe. It’s not a recipe, more of an idea for days where your pantry is almost empty but you still have some pasta, pesto and cheese. Well those can be turned into a very satisfying Sunday lunch meal.


  • 250 g fresh fettuccine*
  • 100 g green pesto
  • 70 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Boil a large pot of water with some salt. Add in the fresh pasta and cook for 2-3 minutes*.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, add the pesto and the freshly grated cheese into a large bowl. Add in the cooked pasta, a pinch of salt and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle some extra cheese on top and serve immediately.

* Or any type of your favourite pasta, fresh or dry. If using dry, make sure you cook it according to the package instructions.


Švieži makaronai su Žaliuoju Pesto ir sūriu


  • 250 g šviežių fettuccine makaronų*
  • 100 g žaliojo Pesto
  • 70 g šviežiai tarkuoto kietojo Parmesano sūrio
  • Druskos pagardinimui


  1. Užvirkite didelį puodą vandens su žiupsneliu druskos. Sudėkite šviežius makaronus ir virkite 2-3 minutes*
  2. Kol verda makaronai, dideliame dubenyje sumaišykite pesto padažą ir tarkuotą sūrį. Sudėkite išvirusius makaronus, pagardinkite druska ir gerai išmaišykite.
  3. Patiekite nedelsiant su dar šiek tiek šviežiai tarkuoto kietojo sūrio.

*Galite naudoti bet kokius mėgstamiausius makaronus. Jei naudojate sausus makaronus, išvirkite pagal instrukcijas ant pakuotės
